This is my go to and one that all my family can enjoy with me. You can always add more or less chocolate as it's all about preference.

Yummies:

  • 3 oz bar of dark chocolate, 70% or higher

  • Fresh Strawberries, with green top removed

  • Fresh pineapple, cut up and ready for dippin'

  • Coconut oil

What next?

  1. Melt the chocolate bar with a heaping tablespoon of coconut oil (I use a regular spoon) - you can do this in the microwave. I do it the double burner way but without a double burner: I use a small pot and fill with a couple of inches water and place a small glass bowl on top that fits just right so that it doesn't fall into the pot. I break up the chocolate into big chunks and place into the bowl with the coconut oil. You can always add more coconut oil if you want a more fluid like chocolate.

  2. Turn on the stove top and once the water is heated, let it simmer and slowly melt the chocolate, stirring your chocolate and coconut oil along the way.

  3. Line a baking sheet, pan, tray, plates, platter - whatever you have- with parchment paper. Just make sure it'll fit in your freezer.

  4. Dip your fruit in the chocolate and place onto the lined sheet you have prepared.

  5. Place the prepared choco-fruit in the freezer for at least an hour or two.

  6. Mmm... enjoy
