Pumpkin Spice Latte

I love a great latte and Fall has me craving a little pumpkin and spice. Creating my own pumpkin spice latte means I make it just the way I like, and with only real ingredients-- try my recipe below as a starting point and then adjust, if you'd like, to your taste by adding and/or reducing the spice or sweetener.


  • 1 Heaping Tablespoon of pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 Tablespoon maple syrup

  • 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice

  • whole nutmeg (to zest as a topping)

  • 3/4 cup oat milk (or your choice of milk)

  • 2-3 espresso shots OR 1 cup of strong black coffee


  1. In a small sauce pan, warm oat milk with pumpkin puree, maple syrup and spice.

  2. Wisk ingredients and continue to warm over medium heat.

  3. Once hot, turn off stove stop and use a hand held frother to get it all nice and foamy (or transfer to another frother if that's what you have).

  4. Pour coffee into a heated mug and then add the frothed oat milk.

  5. zest whole nutmeg over the top for an extra yummy kick and beautiful accent to the coffee.
