Dairy-Free Chocolate Drink

I love chocolate based drinks that are naturally sweetened so I decided to make my own. It's quite simple and so tasty!
Ingredients:
1 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight to make it easier to digest)
2 dates (soaked in cold water at least half an hour, if possible -it's ok if not)
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
Drain and rinse the almonds and place in high speed blender (I use the Vitamix)
Add 4 cups cold water to blender and blend for about a minute
Pour into nut bag, squeezing the delicious almond milk into a bowl
Rinse blender's pitcher and add back the almond milk (throw away or look up recipes for the almond meal)
Add the dates, cacao powder and vanilla. Blend all together about 30 seconds
Enjoy and refrigerate any chocolate goodness remaining!
