Chocolate-Almond-Blueberry Smoothie

I love smoothies! I love chocolate! Here's a fun recipe to try, and remember you can remove and add ingredients to better suit your preferences. Because this uses whole, raw almonds, you need a high speed blender (otherwise it'll be chunky in consistency - which can still be enjoyed).
Yummies:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 dates
1 1/2 cups cold water
1/4 cup raw almonds
1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds (optional)
1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
1 Tablespoon hemp protein
2 Tablespoons raw cacao
Note 1: Hemp protein is considered a complete protein and you can add to smoothies and salads for an additional protein boost :)
Note 2: Maca powder is an antioxidant that helps to fight disease and prevent cell damage.
Note 3: Flaxseed and chia seeds contain Omega-3 fatty acid, a healthy fat that contributes to healthy brain function and overall health.
